Our Classes

BUGS programs are offered through the City of Boise. Register below!

  • Our garden provides an environment for preschoolers to observe, discover, experiment and learn. Lessons focus on gardening to encourage exploration, creativity and healthy eating.

    August-May, ages 3.5-5

  • Chefs in training of all ages learn a variety of culinary skills and put together healthy and flavorful meals. Participants harvest from the BUGS garden, serving local and seasonal garden fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs.

  • New for fall 2023! Join BUGS for gardening classes in Boise.

    We’ll be tackling habitat gardens, weeds and pests, soil health and irrigation, season extension and seed starting and garden planning.

  • Using the BUGS education garden as our summer grow lab, children enrolled in our garden and culinary camps will have the opportunity to explore and discover what grows and lives in our garden.
